Final Blog

Image
Indeed, Canva, and multiple different template websites were used for this course. Canva provided the most useful because they provide so many different types of templates and useful tools.  https://www.canva.com https://www.indeed.com I liked the blogs, but I did find them challenging, I felt that they were confusing, on how people structure the writing. I don't understand still if I've written them completely right. I also found that the resume and cover letter is going to be very useful. I'm going to start using my resume for my future applications, I also will be able to make any future adjustments to it. I'll continue to use Indeed and Canva as well because they are both valuable websites.

Creating an Infographic

Image
how-a-car-engine-works This infographic provides a breakdown of how an engine operates and how it uses the each part functions in the process. This infographic does a very good job at providing a lot of detail in each part of the engine, giving readers opportunity to learn about the pieces individually.  how-play-football This infographic gives a rundown of the basic rules of American football and how it is played or won. This infographic does well at giving a simpler breakdown of the rules, rather than giving an overwhelming amount of information. My recommended site for creating infographics would be  infographics , this is Canva, they are one of the best websites to use when it comes to creating infographics, news articles, etc. This is my infographic about chapter 14:

Job Search

https://www.uline.jobs/JobDetails?source=1-INDEED&jobid=R241610 Searching through indeed or other job finding websites allows you to find jobs that you might be interested in. I was able to use indeed to find the job that I would consider applying for outside of college. The job is a warehouse management trainee. The employer is ULINE, this is a big company, which helps give reassurance that they will be a reliable source of income. They have a three star review, which isn't the greatest, but after reading the reviews you can determine whether you still want to apply. These are the minimum requirements that the job has: "Bachelor’s degree." "Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced warehouse management environment." "Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask." "Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to detail." "Willing to relocate (with support) to another Uline Ware

Creating a Newsletter

It was easy to create the newsletter, especially when using canva. The research needed to complete the assignment was also easy, but being creative when doing the newsletter is important.

Creating a Prezi

Image
Creating a Prezi was an easier experience than I thought it was going to be. Although it is very different from the traditional presentation, it can allow a person to create very creative layouts. It's also quite simple to create the presentations themselves. Overall it was a good experience and I would use this website again for presentations in the future. https://prezi.com/view/hj13qcxP9b0VNj9YJ6gp/
